Ukulele Festival 2016

On Saturday I went to the Ukulele Festival 2016 it was like a dream!! And guess what Six 60 was there and everybody got autographs on their ukulele. Mrs Felix let me join and taught me ukulele and I thank her so much.



And me and Mum were kind of late sorry about that I cant wait till next years festival and quire cause I'm going to join in the class but some things I have to miss like the welcoming Santa to north west I had to miss it because of my dance show and I missed one dance.

Thursday was picnic night it was so boring.... JUST KIDDING! it was the most amazingest thing ever I keep on making words up so first I had kapahaka which means sing and dance in a line and for the first time in forever I was in the front line. Next was class which was when Im in the water Im a fish we had dolphin  masks.

WE WON

So in my school we had a compitition of the best blogger in 2016 and we won. Cats breed rare to regular.

Hi my name is Aaliyah and I know a lot about cats, so I did some research and ,found rare cats from breeding 2 cats and regular, from being bred by 2 cat.

Regular cats .

the most, common cat is a brown cat with green and hazel mixed together even when you have a brown female ,and orange or black or white male, it will probably be a brown kitten with hazel and green eyes. The next one is a ginger cat with the same eyes as last, time green and hazel now you have to have orange and orange to make cute kittens with ginger fur.

Rare cats

I don’t know how to get these, cats bred sorry here’s the names.

My Special Person

Her hazelnut wavy hair gracefully dangles down to her chest, as it reflects the shiny sun . Her perfect gorgeous chocolate eyebrows are above her big bold eyes that have turquoise dazzling pupils to even out her pale  dull white skin that looks as soft as a new  born baby. When she smiles you can see her pearly white teeth also her  fruit plum little lips. She has a slim nose and little brown sprinkles that covers little splotches.

Shes normally happy and well but when she’s ill she can remind me of a dinosaur. She loves to say “Love you sweetheart” to me everyday. Her room can be tidy but mostly messy, there's always  DISHES ON THE FLOOR, LAUNDRY IN STRANGE PLACES.

She brings a wonderful day to other people with her joyful filled smile. When she does her jokes she makes a trend with her amusement . Her helpfulness makes people feel bad so the decide to help others. This person is a great role model to little kids .I love my mum  a lot  and guess what? She loves me even more.

The Moon

The glowy ball that lights up the sky is known as our moon. The moon has been around for 4.53 billion years.

Did you know that the moon controls the tides? All tides are controlled by the moon, but theres one tide that’s quite interesting it’s called neap tides.

When the full moon or new moon appears, the gravitational pull of the moon and sun are combined. At these times the high tides are very high and the low tides are very low. This is known as a spring high tide.

The moon is far away but it doesn't look like it. The moon is actually 384,400 km away from earth. If you were to travel to the moon it would take 3 days to get there and 2 and a half days to get back in a rocket ship.

If you’ve never seen a blood moon these are the latest blood moons. The 28th September 2015 total lunar eclipse is the fourth and final in a series of four total lunar eclipses called the lunar tetrad. The first three eclipses of the tetrad took place on April 15 2014, October 8 2014 and April 4 2015.

Moon phases are when you see different shapes of the moon. But did you know that the moon never changes shape! The sun puts light on the side or all of the moon so the rest is pitch black. That creates phases. There are a lot of names for phases, there are 8 phases that starts with crescent to end of with new moon. There are 2 Crescents, 2 gibbous, 1 full moon, 1 first quarter, 1 third quarter, lucky last but not least new moon.

Cross Country

Cross Country Run

I hear that clap I know it means go time, the flock of 9 and 8 year old girls start to race as their hearts content while I stay in a great pace. I feel kids and parents cheering us on, it gets me going. The wind is compelling me, when I try to run. I feel like I have wings when I run because my feet lift in the air like I’m flying.

I have finally finished my 2nd lap and I'm already dreaded with exhaustion. I go round the corner of the playground  I sprint to the finish line and I … FINISH!!! I am so relieved that I came 4th out of 21, 8 year old girls.

Aaliyahs Terrible No Good Bad Day

Aaliyah’s horrible no good terrible bad day

I thought it was going to be my regular boring day but little did I know I was about to come across a terrible day.

When I woke up I had a gasp, and it gave me a gigantic fright . I slowly shuffled  into the lounge and had a look at the TV. “Oh my goodness it’s 7:35 I slept  in” I had to demolish my food as fast as I could. unfortunately I spat my porridge all over mum and my brother. When we were all in the car the washing was  taking up all the space. When we turned I got squished and squashed until… my face was stuck to the window like super glue and when a person went by they sadly laughed.When I finally got to school and as I got and I  collapsed onto a disgusting pile of mud and my mum got very angry. When school had ended I had to do all the washing.This was the worst day ever can you tell me yours ?

His hazelnut “Cool” hair suits the tan skin he rocks. Elye wears stylish clothes and his aims jumper instead of his school jersey, he is very tall and has big feet. He wears black nikys for school.

He is very funny  but sometimes mean, he always calls me names but he is just joking. He has a messy room  especially his bedside table, it has gazillion cups and plates, rubbish, chocolate wrappers everywhere!

Whenever he scores a goal in basketball it makes me very proud because he plays against really good teams. He is the oldest child and he is a of a grumpy pants and makes my dad really angry. He says  “I don't like you! But I know he doesn't mean it cause he is a great guy and I know it

The Final Genius Hour

My Bussy Weekend

My bussy weekend- On Saturday it wast he starting of my dance show.

First we had the rehearsals I was a bit late and I missed my first dance. But I was here on time for my other dance friends.

Me my mum and my friend Shakana went home and got pizza and chilled till it was 7 then I went back to massy highschool

my costume looked like this for the second dance.

Next was Sunday it was my full show NO rehearsels NO dress rehearsels just a show. My name gets called with my friend Elle we go to the stage and with the group and when the music turns on we skip then stop its time to... SHINE!!! I go off "MY NEXT DANCE ALREADY?" I said. My second dance was a sassy toothfairy dance and I was in the middle line. I go on I dance and smile and it allpayed off . Sadly I didnt get a trolthy well now my consert is on a CD.I thank my teachers Tania and Katelyn I cant wait fot my 4 hours in fame. Oh yeah did I tell you  it went from 7 to 9.

Genius Hour- 2 more weeks

2 more weeks of genius hour. I have tried my hardest.I am currently making a slide show there is going to be about 6 slides I dont know. I hope I do good in my genius hour or else Ill be sad.

Sports Activater - Sweet Success in sprints

Today was sports activater with Jess. I did high jump sprints and long jump, I did very well in sprints I bet Reagen 2 times I call that a sweet success. My next goal in sprints is to be like Usain Bolt, I probably never be like him now  but soon I will reach my goal adventully. So I will be back on a magazeen  with me running I know I can do it with my friends be side me I will beome the fastest. I will keep you up with my sport activater bye. 3.11.16 .

Genius hour

Genius hour- genius hour is a personal independent creation you can make you like , I am making how polluted is New Zealand? We only have 9 weeks to get ready.\

My class thought genius hour is a way to be creative in your own style.Ask your teacher now to start genius hour just like my class  so you can be yourself in a class subject like genius hour or calender art  and much more.

Sports Activator- Disscus

Sports activator was a disscus disaster, Jess-sports teacher was helping get better at discus and shot put. I didn't  do so well on disscus because I had to hold a plate (a discus) I was partnered up with Isabella and she was first. Jess said "You have to hold the discus like you have claws got it okay" I threw... really 2 or 3 meters away, man I need to work on my arms. Better luck next time!
